Description from Publisher:
The weekend before starting her dream job, Rayna Monroe goes out with her friends to celebrate. What she thought would be a fun girls’ night, ends up with her and a hot guy in her bed. But, before her wild, sexy night even starts, he walks out leaving her alone and naked. Ignoring the shame that consumes her, Rayna is determined to focus on her amazing new job as one of the corps-de-ballet members of NYBT—the best ballet company in the country—and forget all about that awful night. Only when she walks in on her first day, she bumps into no one other than the guy who abandoned her two nights ago.

The life of a ballet dancer is hard. The life of a male ballet dancer is harder, and Joshua Connelly knows it well. Living a lie, Josh just wants to focus on what he loves most while he can—without any distractions. What he didn’t expect was to come face to face with the girl he ran out on before doing something he’d regret.

Mortified over their failed one night stand, Rayna and Josh are determined to avoid each other. Except, they are chosen to represent the company in a big competition. Which means, they have to dance together. Not only on the competition day, but for several hours a day for an entire month.

Despite their attempts of keeping it strictly professional, their hearts have other ideas. And for a moment, everything seems perfect.

And then, it isn’t.

Faced with the truth and tragedy and forced apart, Rayna and Josh will have to find themselves, before they can find each other. If they can.

Description from Publisher:
I like to think of myself as a man of pleasure…

I enjoy a good pint of ale, being in the arms of a beautiful woman, and living by my own rules. The only thing I try to avoid? Commitment. And I’ve got a three-year success rate to prove it.

I wasn’t planning on Grace—the beautiful, funny, totally off-limits massage therapist who keeps popping up in my life. She’s on a six-month mission to rid her life of toxins. No alcohol. No red meat. And, yeah, no men. I’m talking full-on man cleanse.

I know I should walk away, but I can’t…and the only way to keep her in my life is to live by her rules. I’ll need to prove to a woman who’s lost all trust in men that I’m worthy of her love. And do it all without so much as a single kiss.

The only problem? If I win, I’ll lose the one thing I swore I’d never give up. My heart.

Each book in the Kingston Ale House series is a standalone, full-length story that can be enjoyed out of order.

My Musings:
Now, it needs to be said that I am a big fan of this series, and Jamie from the first book, The One That Got Away, has been hard to top. That said... Jeremy gives Jamie a run for his money! (Though I think Jamie is still my favorite KAH guy). He was so caring and sweet and I loved how honest he was! He was just so darn adorable. I also liked Grace a lot, and admired her loyalty and her strength when it came to figuring out what she wanted. These two were wonderfully matched and so much fun to "watch."

And seriously, for a book of no kisses or sexual touching for over 90%, this had some hot sexual tension that scorched the pages! They had fantastic overall chemistry, with some great emotional intimacy as well. I loved their interactions, the humor, their coincidences and chemistry. And their faith and trust in each other, despite some hiccups along the way.

Something I have enjoyed in each book is that there are few unlikable characters here (aside from one who is pretty obvious). They are all so multi-faceted and the drama just the right side of believable (because like CAN be that interesting :) ).

As a fan of all 4 books, I really liked visiting with the couples from the previous books too, especially Brynn and Jamie. It's bittersweet that this is the final book in the series as I will miss them all, but it was such a fantastic end!

(This is absolutely standalone, in case my review makes it sound otherwise!)

My Source: I received a digital ARC from the publisher to voluntarily review. This in no way influenced my review. My opinion is unbiased and 100% my own.

About the Author: A.J. Pine
AJ Pine writes stories to break readers’ hearts, but don’t worry—she’ll mend them with a happily ever after. As an English teacher and a librarian, AJ has always surrounded herself with books. All her favorites have one big commonality–romance. Naturally, the books she writes have the same. When she’s not writing, she’s of course reading. Then there’s online shopping (everything from groceries to shoes). And a tiny bit of TV where she nourishes her undying love of vampires, superheroes, and a certain high-functioning sociopath detective. You’ll also find her hanging with her family in the Chicago ‘burbs.

AJ Pine is the author of the If Only series, the Only You series, and the current Kingston Ale House series.
