This was really great! Within a page, I was shaking with laughter and eagerly turning pages. I admit that I liked Hazel at first, then felt she was MAAYBE a bit too wild, but then I fell in love with her. She is just that kind of character, I think, that you really can't help but love her. And Josh was SUCH a great match. I'd say he probably felt the same way, and I really loved how he took her eccentricities in stride, even admiring how brave she was. He was a great "straight man" to be her best friend. And these two had some really wonderful chemistry as well, both as friends and more. I loved their banter, and loved their sweetness, and loved their sexytimes. They made each other laugh and were there for one another as well. I cannot forget to mention Winnie. At times, she still the show just because dogs are awesome. ;) The end was handled really well, too. I won't go into detail, but been there, done that, and appreciated how it was written. I picked this up because I wanted a Best Friends to Lovers book (one of my favorites), and I have loved Christina Lauren every time. This is really no exception!!

This was so cute!! I Capital-L Loved it! ;) Eliza is a klutz, which is especially unfortunate because she is a Cupid, and Cupids enchant by inflicting an amount of pain. She's had her share of drama and that grew resentment that turned her into a cynic. Enter Jake. He is also a Cupid, and also Eliza's childhiid beat friend and crush. He was great now, but age has only improved him, in all ways. She ends up "stuck" with him, which is a hardship in really the best of ways. This story has a bit of everything and is, well, enchanting from the very beginning. It's FUNNY, and it's sweet, and not lacking in some sexy spice either. I really Loved the world built and the lore was fantastic. There was also mystery to this, then a bit of thrill as everything comes to a head. It's really a wonderful supernatural romantic comedy, and I highly recommend it! I would enjoy it anytime, but it's the perfect Valentine's Day read.

Ooh my god, what?! That's it?? But what happens? Is there a sequel??? Apparently not! So be warned that the ending may leave you scratching your head a bit. The details of being a flight attendant felt very accurate, from beginning to end. And the characters definitely jumped off the page. This felt a hit slow in the first half, but picked up around Vegas. The last 3rd is pretty fantastic, and I felt like the pacing really reflected Juliette's emotional state as things came to a head. I don't want to give anything away, but this is a wonderful suspense, with some twists and turns (some predictable, but still entertaining).
