Description from Publisher:
Millionaire bad boy Jordan Fawkes has problems. Big problems. That molten-hot intern he hooked up with at Comic-Con is now his assistant. No one can know they’re the stars of the cosplay sex tape that broke the Internet.

Business school hopeful April Weiss has drama. Big drama. Working under the CFO of Draco Multimedia should be the opportunity of a lifetime for her, but Jordan Fawkes is the boss from Hell—a sexier-than-sin boss from Hell who holds all the cards for her future career.

And then there’s the small problem of a certain video…

My Rating:
Heat Rating:
I will start this by saying that I LOVED the first three books of this series. Unfortunately, I just didn't get the same sense of love between Jordan and April - their relationship felt more based in lust until maybe 2/3 of the way through. It was hot, but not particularly romantic. I didn't care for Jordan previously, so that likely didn't help. I did like him a lot more after this book, especially seeing his side of the friendship he has with Adam. I still didn't necessarily get much of a softer side to him though. Maybe he is just too alpha for me.

April was also fine, though her mousey-ness was a bit much at times. She was so willing to just give in all the time. The way that Jordan's "No bullshit" attitude helps her "grow a pair" is something that made me like the two of them as a couple. His advice to her about being worth respecting struck a chord with me. It was pure gold. Seriously, this mousey girl will remember it for awhile herself.

The idea was a fun one - the accidental sex video that goes viral and the fact that April didn't know who the guy in the video was. The thing that spoiled that a bit for me though, was the fact that nobody thought to check her phone's history to see how exactly it got out. I understand that April is a tech-newb, but surely anyone with a smartphone could check their texts, e-mails, etc. to see how the video got out? It was hard to suspend my disbelief over this.

I did love what we saw of Adam and Mia, though that's not surprising. Still loving Katya too! I really hope she gets her own book at some point. April's roommate, Sid, felt mostly unnecessary here and more like a plot device. I don't really understand why April had her own place and shared a bedroom with someone else that felt more like a roommate than anything else...

Overall, I did enjoy this. The personalities were definitely there and I love how well Brenna Aubrey can switch up the voices. April and Jordan both had very distinct voices, which is not an easy feat.
