Description from Publisher: Hot, Southampton doctor, Carson Reynolds isn’t the kind of man Gemma Carr should be playing with. But his offer of a fake engagement comes with sexy, late night house calls, and despite her bad girl reputation, it’s been far too long since she’s taken two and called anyone in the morning.

When Carson sees Gemma at a charity event, he knows he has to have her. It’s been ten years since he’s had her in his arms, but that hasn’t lessened his intense need for her. To save her reputation and get his parents off his back, he makes her an offer she can’t refuse.

It’s the perfect set-up—until this fake engagement starts to feel a little too real…

I received a digital ARC from the publisher through NetGalley.com for an honest, unbiased review. This in no way influenced my review. My opinion is my 100% own.

Ah, one of my favorite tropes: fake dating. This one does not disappoint, especially since it isn't just fake dating, but fake dating + friends with benefits.

Carson and Gemma's story is almost predictable, but still gives some pleasant surprises. They have obvious chemistry, and the many sexy scenes showcase that chemistry well. Something that is always important to me is that the couple also have good chemistry emotionally and I love that this is the case for these two!

This isn't a typical rich guy and other side of the tracks girl story, which I also appreciate. The bulk of the story is about building up their relationship and not that Gemma is a poor and Carson is posh.

The supporting characters added some extra depth, though I don't necessarily feel that I know any of them. I would love to read more about Andy and Crystal as they both seem to be characters worth knowing!

There isn't anything overly dramatic in this, but I consider that a positive. It's a great read and not without its own charm.
