Description from Publisher: Is it all too good to be true?

When Willow runs into her old university crush, Luke, she’s a new woman with a new look – not to mention a little bit more cash after a rather substantial inheritance. Could she be lucky enough to score a fortune and her dream man at the same time?

Then Willow meets Cal; a computer geek with a slightly odd sense of humour. They get on like a house on fire — although she soon realises that there is far more to her unassuming new friend than meets the eye …

But money doesn’t always bring happiness, and Willow finds herself struggling to know who to trust. Are the new people in her life there because they care – or is there another reason?

My Rating:
Heat Rating:

I received a digital ARC from the publisher through NetGalley.com for an honest, unbiased review. This in no way influenced my review. My opinion is my 100% own.

Will's voice throughout is so fun and inviting, it really sucks you in from the first page! There is so much clever humor, and I loved the colorful descriptions and phrases used. And the characters are all so well-described, and generally warm, you just love all the quirks and eccentricities.

And Cal. How do I even begin to describe him? He is snarky, and clever, and funny, and sweet, and so caring... And insecure, but in the most heart-wrenching and adorable way. And beneath the "weird" is a crazy amount of spine-tingling sexy.

As a general rule, I'm not a fan of the heroine being with someone who isn't the love interest, but this is an exception. I spent a third of the book wondering why I wasn't feeling Will & Luke, until I realized.

The big discovery that Will makes was, admittedly, something I saw coming, in every way, very early one. From the first time Will started looking into what she really got from her grandfather. But that really didn't diminish even that aspect of this story for me, the ride and clues were just THAT fun!
