| This was a cute story, with some enjoyable characters. Stephanie is a great heroine and I loved her feistiness and humor. She was a fantastic match to Miles, who is a little rough around the edges while he figures out what exactly he wants.
The setting of a smaller town in Michigan was a lot of fun and I really loved how it was described and how it worked with the story. This was my first Checkerberry Inn book, and first Kyra Jacobs book, and I adored every page. There wasn't all that much "fake dating" in this, despite the title and the fact that Miles and Stephanie are fake-"engaged." There was, however, history between these two that helped to flesh out their story and really make you root for them to finally get it together. All in all, a sweet and sexy story that was a very quick read! | ||
